The Homegoing Celebration of Life for Ms. Beverly McGilbra (January 4, 1950 to November 7, 2014) is scheduled for 12 O'clock Noon on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at the Central Pointe' Church of Christ which is located at 7440 S. Westmoreland Rd, Dallas, TX 75237

Ms. Beverly Ann McGilbra departed this life on Friday, November 7, 2014. She was born to the parentage of Ruth and Wiley McGilbra on January 4, 1950 in Waco, TX. Soon after graduation from L. G. Pinkston High School, Beverly gave birth to three wonderful children; Willie C. McGilbra, Typatrick McGilbra, and Shundella McGilbra. Beverly worked for the Honeywell Security Group 10 plus years. She also owned a clothing designing business, thus, she was able to fulfill her lifelong passion of designing clothes for herself, family, friends and other Dallas customers. Beverly was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt to her family. She was a faithful and active member of Central Pointe Church of Christ. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her death by her eldest son; Willie C. McGilbra, a sister; Willie Warner and by her mother and father. Those left to cherish Beverly's memory are her children; Typatrick and Shundella McGilbra both of Dallas, TX. One Sister; Ms. Mary Tennison of Lancaster, TX. Nine grandchildren (Derrick, Dadrian, Desirea, Melody, Braymon, Delisha, Tyara, Donyea, and Lisa), three great-grandchildren; Ariel, Da'Qualin, and Serinitee of Dallas, and several nieces, nephews, relatives and a host of friends.
