Eddie Shultz Obituary

Former Air Force Staff Sergeant, Eddie Lowrance Shultz was born to the parentage of the late Lowreance and Susie Shultz on October 2, 1947 in Dallas, Texas. Eddie was raised in a Christian home and became a member of West Mt. Horeb Missionary Baptist Church. At an early age, he accepted Christ in his life, under the pastoral leadership of Rev. Malbray Mitchem. After graduating from L.G. Pinkston High School in 1966, he enlisted into the US Airforce. While serving in the Air Force, Eddie was injured in combat and was awarded the Purple Heart.

Eddie was preceded in death by his parents; Lowreance and Susie Shultz, his wife; Carmelita Shultz, a brother: Willie and sister; Betty. He leaves to cherish precious and fond memories his lovely daughter; Sarah, siblings; Brenda, Linda, Charles (Esther), Robert (Rene) and Herman. He also leaves to mourn a host of relatives, including aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins and a plethora of friends. Eddie will truly be missed by all who knew him. Please keep the family lifted in prayer.

  • Private immediate Family Members Only. No more than ten (10) persons, including the minister, funeral Director and family may attend the service. On Tuesday, Aoril 28, 2020, by 9:00 A.M., family should line up in lane #2 at DFW National Cemetery ready to depart to our appointed gravesite at 9:15 A.M.

     Family will be required by the cemetery to maintain the established six foot social distance.

    As an honorable discharged veteran, earned military honors; including the flag ceremony will be conducted at a later date.
