Emily Ruth Powell

Ms. Emily Ruth "Nana" Powell was born on August 23, 1954 in Taylor Texas to R.T. and Hazel Marie Powell. On the evening of May 9th, 2016 Emily quietly slipped away to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Emily was truly a Woman of God, a loving mother, daughter, sister, Nana and will be truly missed by all that knew and loved her.

She leaves behind a legacy of love to her mother Hazel M. Powell; children, Melisa, Stefanie, James and Jeremy; Her sisters and brothers, James and Douglas Powell, Ruby, Wanda and Theresa Powell; grandchildren Samuel, Cordell, Tonias, Keara, Suriyah, Dominic and Brooklyn, along with a host of loving relatives and friends.
