On June 3, 2018. Mrs Eva Berry Nash Euins, affectionately known by family and friends as Madea, quietly and peacefully with a smile on her face, left her earthly home to dwell forever with the Lord, in her brand new Heavenly eternal home.
Madea was born on February 11, 1921 in Kaufman Texas to the parentage of Mr. Ernest and Mrs. Mary Davis-Nash, of whom both parents preceded her in death.
At an early age Madea was baptized into the Lord Jesus the Christ and remained a faithful servant of the Lord and a Christian, until on June 3, 2018 she was called home to be eternally with the Lord. Madea loved and was faithful to all her family, friends, church members and neighbors. Madea never met a stranger for she had outgoing and witty personality that seem to attract people to her like a magnet. Many of the people she befriended remained friends for life.
Madea attended and graduated from the now defunct Pyle High School in Kaufman. Shortly after graduating, she relocated to Dallas where she pursued new educational opportunities. She enrolled in, attended, graduated and earned her cosmetology certification from the Madame Walker Beauty College. She also attended nursing vocational school and received a nursing certification.
For many years Madea was an “American War Mothers” volunteer at the Dallas V.A. Hospital; she loved serving and attending to the health and quality of life concerns of veterans and others.
Family members who preceded Madera in death were; Her parents, husband; Floyd Euins, brother; Ernest Nash, Jr., Daughters; Valarie Smith and Mattie Booker, Sons; Ollie Vernon Mayweather, Jr. and Pierre Euins, six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Madea “Eva” now leaves to cherish fond memories her Daughter; Ollie Robertson, Sons; Fred Carr, Jr, Fredrick Euins and Dexter Euins Goddaughter; Jerri Brown, Grandchildren; Keila Robinson, Laquieta Robertson, Kevin Hawkins, Monica Booker, Elzina Frazier, Quaisada Jackson, Shountae Seaberry, Constance Thomas, Pierre Wright and Isaac Booker.
