He was a cherished member of our family and our community, remembered for his unwavering faith, warmth, and generous spirit. A devoted Christian, Uncle Dooley found joy and purpose in his church, where he spent countless Sundays worshiping, connecting with friends, and showing off his latest suit purchase from Levine’s. Above all else, he loved his family. He was the heart of every gathering bringing joy and laughter to his many siblings, nieces and nephews. His fondness for simple comforts—especially his beloved beans and cornbread—reflected his humble, grounded nature and his gratitude for life’s small blessings. Fred “Dooley” Evans Jr was preceded in death by his parents Fred Evens Sr. and Caroline Evans and many beloved siblings who welcomed him home in Heaven. He leaves behind brother Charles Evans, sisters Lee Tidmore, Freddie Easley, Mary Baker and a legacy of love, faith and cherished memories that will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him.
