Freddie Finch Obituary

Mr. Freddie “Cricket” Leroy Finch was born on December 25, 1960 to the parentage of Nathaniel “Nappy” Finch and Merlene Alexander Finch in Lake Creek, Texas.

He attended Delmar School and graduated from Delmar High School in 1980. Freddie worked various jobs throughout Lamar, Delta, and Fannin counties during his lifetime and loved working as a firefighter for the Enloe Volunteer Fire Department.

Freddie confessed his life to Christ at an early age and fellowshipped with various churches and was a member of Enloe United Methodist Church at the time of his death. Freddie was recognized as an outgoing person and formed many lasting friendships. He had a big heart and loved his family and friends. He will be truly missed but will never be forgotten. Freddie departed this life to be with the Lord and reunited with his loved ones in heaven on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at his home in Enloe, TX.

Freddie was preceded in death by both parents; Nathaniel “Nappy” Finch and Merlene Alexander Finch, Brother; Junior Lee “Bubba” Finch, Sisters; Evelyn “Babb” Briggs, and Lucy Mae Finch; Nephew; Jamie Finch; Uncles; Floyd Patterson, Clifford Alexander, Sr., Rio Alexander, Joe Finch, Jim Finch, Jake Finch, Lonzo Finch, Levy Finch, and Lonnie Joe Finch, Sr., Aunts; Alma Carter, Margaret Barber, Ella Hearn, Mut Finch, Georgie Young, Rosie Brown, Beatrice Beamon, and Dorothy Miller.

He now leaves to cherish fond and precious memories, A Spouse; Wilma Love of Paris, TX, Son; Kedrick Wright of Mount Pleasant, TX, Granddaughter, Kiana Wright of Mount Pleasant, TX, Brother; Danny Finch of Paris, TX, Aunts; Katherine Cooper of Cooper, TX; Mentha Finch of Paris, TX, A Special Friend; Freddy Roberts of Cooper, TX, Seven nephews; Seven nieces; and a plethora of other relatives and friends.

His Homegoing Service is 12:30 P.M., Saturday, March 16, 2019 at the Palestine Baptist Church (15024 Farm Road 906 E Paris,Texas 75462) with Pastor Harold Washington, Officiant and Rev. Stacey Smith, Eulogist.

Mr. Finch will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to funeral time. Interment to follow at the Palestine Cemetery, Paris, Texas. Please keep the family in prayer.
