Gail Denise Mathis

Ms. Gail Denise Mathis was born to the proud parentage of Mrs. Mary L. Blanton- Mathis and Mr. Lavon Mathis, on July 8, 1956 in the city of Fort Worth, TX. She received her formal education at Fort Worth’s Polytechnic High School.

Gail was a beloved mother of two beautiful daughters. In November of 1976, she welcomed her first bundle of joy; Roshonda Mathis into the world. Four years later she again became another proud mother of Nicole Crawford.

Gail’s life was devoted to being the nurturing foundation to both of her loving daughters, whom she so deeply cherished.

Gail was often affectionately referred to as “Momma Gail.” No matter where she went, she always took the opportunity to established form bonds with those who yearned for her openness and love.

Her charismatic spirit was so captivating that those around greatly clinger to motherly presence. Gail never met a stranger and the doors to her heart were always open to those who needed her guidance and motherly love.

Dedicated devotion was a quality that her family and friends can attest too. Gail’s faith allowed her to overcome a plethora of obstacles that life placed before her, but through it all she stayed steadfast in her faith and belief in God that she rose through and above it all.

Her life represents the strength of a virtual women who loved living every moment of life with a smile on her face.

Gail also enjoyed spending quality time with her sisters; reminiscing of the “good old days”, while creating new profound memories in the present moments of life.

Her love for her grandchildren were indescribable. She continuously instilled seeds of wisdom for them to hold eternally dear in their hearts.

Gail positively impacted many lives and was an awesome beacon of hope and magnificent inspiration to all, she will definitely be missed by all who knew and loved her.
