Gerald Allen Murphy

It is with deep regret and profound sorrow that we inform you of the passing of Mr. Gerald Allen Murphy, age 53, a resident of Dallas, TX.  Gerald was born December 13, 1970, in Hemphill, Texas, to the parentage of the Reverend Eugene and Lonie Murphy. Gerald confessed his belief in Christ, was baptized and became a faithful member of the Singing Hills Church of Christ in Dallas, Texas. He attended public school in Longview and Texarkana, Texas and was a 1991 graduate of Texas High School in Texarkana, Texas. He also attended Lincoln Technical School in Grand Prairie, Texas. He was employed by the State of Texas, and later Taylor Farms in Dallas, Texas, until his health declined. Gerald loved fishing and spending time with family and friends.

Gerald was preceded in death by his father and mother - Reverend Eugene Murphy and Lonie Murphy. He leaves to cherish his memories his siblings;  Eugenia Butler, David Murphy (Murl), Vicki Austin (Woodrow), Eric Murphy (Ellena), Danny Murphy (Sonya), Anthony Murphy (Kathy), and Shelby Murphy (Shannon), Stepmother;  Violet Murphy, bonus siblings; Kenneth Harris, Ronald L. Harris (Tania), Warren C. Harris (Berrolyn), Marjorie Miller, Angela Anthony (Devin), His Special Companion;  Felecia Brown, and a plethora of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
