It is with deep regret and profound sorrow that on January 29, 2022 we announce the passing of Mr. Johnny Ray Chambers of Dallas, Texas. Please lift the Chambers family in prayer.
Mr.Johnny Ray and Mr.John Wayne Chambers were born in the City of Wortham, Texas to the proud parentage of the late Troy Sr. and Loreen Thomas-Chambers. Johnny was born on December 26, 1955 and John was born on November 30, 1958.
Johnny and John accepted Christ at an early age and joined the Smith Chapel Baptist Church of Wortham.
Both brothers completed their formal at Mexia High School, in Mexia, Texas. Johnny was a star football player at Mexia High, while John majored in woodwork and carpentry skills.
John loved to build and fix houses, he was also a lover of family. He was employed and worked for many years as a maintenance man for the South Park Gardens in Corsicana, Texas. Johnny pursued and maintained a ca career as an adult day care worker.
In the early 90’s, both brothers relocated to Dallas where they resided until death.
Johnny and John were preceded in death by their parents and eight siblings; Troy Chambers, Jr., Ruby Freeman, Kenneth Chambers, Linda McGill, Glendale Johnson, Dedreall Chambers, Jacqueline Chambers, and Emma Jean Thomas.
Leaving to cherish precious memories is their sister; Evelyn Joyce Thomas-McQueen, along with a plethora of nieces, nephews and a host of other members of the Chambers/Thomas family, and friends. Both Johnny and John will truly be missed by all who knew them.
