Kevin Demond Smith

It is with utmost sorrow that we announce the passing of Mr. Kevin Demond Smith, age 48 of Lancaster, TX. Services for Mr. Smith are posted. Please keep the family lifted in prayer.

Kevin Demond Smith was born June 15, 1975, in Dallas TX, to the parentage of Henry Smith and Lillian Smith Henry. He attended Justin F. Kimball High School in Dallas, Texas. He graduated in the  class of 1994. After high school, he attended El Centro College.

Kevin was a true child of God, and he instilled these same values in his children.  He loved spending time with his family and enjoyed fishing.

Kevin was a dedicated over the road truck driver, for over 20 years. He was a free spirit who loved living life and was very loved by many. Kevin married his high school sweetheart, Tamica in 1996. To this union were born three children: Kevin Jr., Kamren and Kailyn.

He is preceded in death by his father, Henry Smith. Kevin is survived by his wife of 26 years, Tamica Smith, his three children; Kevin Smith Jr., Kamren Smith and Kailyn Smith, 4 grandchildren; Kevin III, Kiaya, Kamren Jr. and Kiaro, his loving mother; Lillian Henry, sister; Carla Williams (Chris), special nephew;

David Williams, special cousins; Adriene, Andre, Ebony and Justin, best friends; Marcus, Sedrick and Todd, aunts; Betty Watson (Jack), Barbara Craig  (James),uncles; Frank Davis (Faye), George Davis (Eula), mother-in-law; Berta Boyd, sister and brother-in-law; Tikedra and Timothy Boyd and a host of relatives and friends.
