It is with deep regret and profound sorrow that we inform you of the passing of Ms. Keyondra S. Barrett, age 36, a resident of Dallas, TX. Services for Ms. Barrett are posted.
Keyondra was born on June 5, 1988, in Dallas, Texas, to Charles Barrett, Sr. and Hazel Faye Thomas-Barrett. She completed her education in Dallas and Plano Public Schools and graduated from the McKinney Job Corp. Keyondra dedicated her life to her faith, having accepted Christ at an early age and being baptized at the East Side Church of God in Christ, where she remained steadfast in her beliefs.
Throughout her career, Keyondra worked as a cashier at various grocery stores in the DFW area, with her most recent position as a warehouse packager at Bed, Bath & Beyond alongside her brother, Charles, a job she truly loved. Keyondra cherished spending time with her family, capturing moments through photography and video, walking, going to the movies, and she really enjoyed reading.
Keyondra was preceded in death by her daughter; Nevaeh Faith Barrett, her son; Michael Anthony Ed D ' Shawn Terry, Jr., her mother; Hazel F. Thomas, grandmother; Eloise W. Thomas, great-grandparents; Joe Coit, Sr., and Myrtle, Classie Mae Jones, Arthur D. Barrett and Mildred Faye Barrett, great grandparents; Robert and Rebecca Thomas, and special cousin; Tyiesha “TeTe” Nycole Thomas.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her father; Charles Edward Barrett, one son; Dorian Fontenot, two sisters; Veronica Thomas and Nikeisha Barrett, one brother; CJ Barrett (Veronica), eight aunts; LaQuiesh Thomas, Jolene Coit, Jolita Coit, Jozenna Coit, Josette Coit, Jolinda Coit, Brenda Delores Eaton, and Clara Faye Collins, two great aunts; Margarite Rosas, and Dottie Caldwell, three uncles; Edward Thomas (Angela), Dexter Donald Barrett, Michael John Barrett, four great uncles; Willie Thomas, Jimmy Thomas, Isiah Thomas, and Robert Thomas, Jr., four nephews; Endre Barnett, Semaj Howard, Tavion Mack and Tarijhay Woodberry, four nieces; Leah and Karissa Barrett, Trinitee Woodberry, and Keira Johnson. Keyondra also leaves to cherish precious memories, a plethora of other relatives and friends. We kindly request your thoughts and prayers for the family during this very difficult time.
