LA was born in Dallas, TX on July 9, 1980 to the union of Willie A. Beans and Vickey T. Hinton. LaKeith did not enter this world alone, he was the second born after twin his sister, La Keithra Donta Hinton. Both La Keithra and La Keith grew up together and were remarkably close to each other.

He later attended the US Job Corps in Guthrie, OK, where he graduated with Honors earning the vocation training skill of a security specialist.
