On September 20, 2017 at the young age of 41, Mr. Lenord Byrd, Jr. left this earthly home to be with the Lord. Lenord was born on February 28, 1976 in Dallas, Texas February 28, 1976 to the proud parentage of Jackie (Bennie Faye Lindsey) and Lenord Glenn Byrd. Sr. He attended Speer Elementary School in Arlington, Texas and went on to complete his formal education at Eastern Hills High School of Fort Worth, Texas. At an early age Lenord accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and was baptized into the Church of God and Christ in Arlington, Texas.
After completing technical training, at the age of 25, he fullfilled his lifelong dream, that was to become a truck driver. He remained employed for many years as a professional truck driver with Tarrant County Concrete.
Lenord was proceeded in death by his Brother; Darrell Donell Lindsey, Maternal Grandmother; Bernice Washington, Paternal Grandmother; Carey Byrd, Paternal Grandfather; Roscoe Byrd, Maternal Grandfather; Bennie Lindsey. He leaves to cherish precious memories, his Wife and Companion; Joycelin Byrd, Sons; Lenord Glenn Byrd III and Hajni Wilson Jr, Daughters; Remeh Byrd and Precious Smith, His Parents; Jackie (Bennie Faye Lindsey) and Lenord Glenn Byrd. Sr., Mother in Law; Lora Turner, Five Sisters; Monica Byrd, Shavaughn Kindred, April Lindsey, Myisha Lindsey, Adrian Harden (Quinton), Brother; Matthew Redic, Special Aunt Vanessa Byrd and Uncle; Randy Washington along with a plethora of; Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephew, Cousins and Friends. Lenord will truly be missed by all of us who knew and loved him.
