It is with utmost sorrow, and heaviness of heart that we announce the passing of Mrs. Lorretta Ann Ellis-Henderson of Dallas, TX. 

Mrs. Lorretta Ann (Ellis) Henderson was born to the proud parentage of JC Ellis, Jr. and Cassanolia Williams in Elk City, Oklahoma on November 15, 1961. She completed her formal education in Duarte, California where in June 1979, she graduated from Duarte High School. She left this earthly home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 in Dallas, Texas.

Lorretta was a mother of two and also a stepmother of two children who she loved dearly. She was a faithful member of the Christian Tabernacle True Holiness Church of Praise.

She was preceded in death by her father; JC Ellis, Jr., her daughter; Patrice B. Brigham, and brother; James Calvin Ellis. 

Lorretta leaves to cherish many wonderful memories to her loving and devoted husband; Marvin Wayne Henderson, Sr., her children; Torie J. (Dou Dou) Faye and Charles A. (Iyeshia) Nichols, her stepsons whom she loved as her very own; Marvin W. Henderson., Jr., and Marcus Henderson, her grandchildren; Andre Nichols (AKA Keiandre), Aysha Nichols, Aaliyah Nichols, Jordan Nichols, Zion Nichols, Micah Nichols, Princess K. Faye, Chaston Henderson, Chason Henderson, Chase Henderson, Jade Henderson, and Jaden Henderson, her mother; Cassanolia Williams,  her siblings; Brenda (Carl) Williams of Royse City, TX, Yullic (Denise) Ellis of Lawton, OK. Patricia L. Ellis of Killeen, TX, Ray C. Ellis of Dallas, TX, Georgia M. Ellis of Garland, TX, Thomas (Lisha) Ellis of Royse City, TX, Latretta A. Wilson of Tyler, TX, Bobby D. Ellis of Richmond, TX, Dorothy (Anthony) of Royse City, TX, Patricia (Otha) Hampton of Rowlett, TX, and Kim D. Ellis of Garland, TX. Lorretta also leaves to cherish precious memories with a plethora of other relatives and friends. She will truly be missed by all of us.
