Mary Louise Curry-Harris

Mrs. Mary Louise Curry-Harris; age 81 of Cedar Hill, Texas quietly slipped away to be with the Lord on July 25, 2020 while in the hospital at North Richland Hills, TX.

Mary was born on March 13, 1939, in Indianapolis, IN to the proud parentage of Mr. Clyde T. and Mrs. Lola Mae Curry. In 1982, while in her early 30’s, Mary moved to Milwaukee, WI, where she subsequently gave her life to Christ. She was baptized at Mt. Zion Apostolic Church in Milwaukee and was a faithful servant of our Lord for well over 38 years; serving in multiple roles, from Sunday School teacher to Mother of the church. In 2008, she and her family moved and took up residence in North Texas, where she remained until her her death.

Mary was a gentle spirit who genuinely enjoyed spending time with her family. Her daily routine always started with Word of Scripture and Prayer. You could always find her at peace, resting in her armchair reading her daily scriptures, meditating in prayer, or watching one of her favorite Pastors on TV. Mary’s hobbies included sewing, flower arranging, solving crossword puzzles, and Yahtzee.

She was preceded in transition by her Husband; George Robert Harris, Siblings; Paul Curry, Clyde Curry, Morris Curry, Nolan Curry, Bobbie Curry, Freddie Curry, and sister Brenda Curry.

Mary leaves to cherish precious and loving memories, her Children; Darren Maxey (Maria), George Harris (Tiffenny), and Darla Bowles (Joseph), she also leaves 10 Grandchildren; Darren, Desmond, Jonathan, JourDan, Morgan, Jessica, Tony, Joseph, Christian and Christiana, Five great grandchildren; Camren, Jovanni, Andrew, Austin, and Cai Blue, Sisters: Dorothy Davis, Marlene Barlow, Juanita Owens, Brother; Ronnie Curry, and a plethora of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Friends and many other loved ones.
