Maurice R. Lee

It is with our deepest and sincerest condolences that we announce the passing of Maurice Reginald Lee, age 55 of Dallas, TX.  Reginal was born on September 28, 1965 in Detroit, Michigan to the parents of Ruthie Lee and Lawrence Abner. He was the big brother to 3 sisters, Angela, Denise and Traci. Maurice was raised in a Christian home and accepted Christ at an early age. He moved to Dallas in 1972, where he was a student in the Dallas Independent School District. He graduated from James Madison High School with the class of 1983. While in high school, he was quarterback of the football team.

After high school, he joined the Army Reserves and attended college. Maurice had a love for music and would DJ at the Mooreland YMCA. He attended the New Room Church in Dallas, Texas.
Maurice was preceded in death by his son;  DeMariye Lee, his father; Lawrence, and his grandmother; Henrietta Lee. He leaves to cherish his memories: His children; Marshundria Deamon (Rickey), Chassity Lee, Maurice Lee, Jr and Demondjai Maeweather, grandchildren; Rashad, Amare, Sean, ZeMariye, Rickey III and Maisen; his mother; Ruthie Paul, his sisters; Angela, Denise, and Traci Paul and a plethora of other relatives and friends, who loved him dearly.

Services for Mr. Lee is 12:00 P.M., Saturday, March  20, 2021 at Bethesda Memorial Funeral Directors Chapel (106 Terrace Drive - DeSoto, Texas 75115).  On Saturday morning; Mr. Lee will lie in quiet repose  one hour prior to the funeral time.
