Patricia Ann (Jobe) McNairy

It is with deep regret and profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Ms. Patricia McNairy, age 73 of Dallas, Texas. Patricia Ann McNairy “Auntie” was born September 22, 1948 to the parents of Curlee Jobe Sr. and Mable Edwards Jobe, both of whom preceded her in death. Patricia transitioned from her earthly home to her eternal home on January 24, 2022. Patricia grew up in Dallas, Texas, and was educated in the Dallas Independent School District. She graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1968. She later met and married Mel McNairy who also preceded her in death. She worked for GP Plastic as a machine operator for 30 years before retiring.

Patricia accepted Christ at a young age and was a member of the Wiley Chapel Baptist Church. Many knew her as “Auntie”. She was a loving and kind person to all. She did not have any biological children of her own, but she was a mother to many. She cared for and nurtured her mother “Madear” tirelessly before her death in 2015. Her warm infectious laugh and generosity will never be forgotten. She was loved by all.

Patricia is survived by three brothers and one sister; Curlee Jobe Jr., Gary Wayne Jobe (Debra), Curtis Ray Jobe, and Carolyn Jean Jobe-Dyer; A host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Please keep this family lifted in prayer. Services for Ms. McNairy are posted.
