Robert Lee Glover

Mr. Robert Glover, the husband of the former Betty Hunnicutt of Marlin, Texas, was born in Arcadia, Louisiana.

He was employed at Bridgford Frozen Foods for over twenty-five years. In 1980, he decided to make a career change by joining the Dallas Independent School District in the Security Department for twenty-two years. He spent several years as a night patrol protecting the schools in the district.

After a few years as night patrol, he began working days in charge of security at E. D. Walker School and later supervisor of security at the Nolan Estes Educational Complex.

Robert is the father of Sharon Wright, Karen Weatherspoon, and Stephanie Smith, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. One Son; Robert Michael Glover, preceded him in death.

Services for Mr. Glover, are scheduled for 11:00 A.M., Saturday, March 21, 2020 at Mount Sinai Baptist Church (6819 Lake June Road - Dallas, Texas 75217). Dr. Stephen Jones, Pastor is the Eulogist. Mr. Glover will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the funeral. Interment at Laurel Land Memorial Park Cemetery will follow services.

The wake and visitation for Mr. Glover is also at the church and will commence at 7:00 and conclude promptly at 9:00 P.M., on Friday, March 20, 2020. Please keep the family lifted in prayer.
