Robert Charles Hollins

The Homegoing Celebration Services for Robert Charles Hollins will take place at 12 Noon on March 7, 2015 at the New Life Full Gospel Church located at 3302 Prairie Creek - Dallas, TX 75217 with Pastor John Weaver, Officiating. Bethesda Memorial Funeral Directors of DeSoto, Texas in charge of services.

Robert Charles Hollins were born in Dallas, Texas on February 5, 1950 to the parentage of Imogene Roseburgh and William "W. T." Thomas Hollins. Robert was preceded in death by both parents and a brother, Roy James Roseburgh.

Robert by trade was a roofer and as a roofer he worked for several Dallas roofing companies. Robert loved Dallas and his favorite area of the city was East Dallas. Even when his health began to fail, he refused to leave his East Dallas community.

On March 4, 2015, Robert departed this life in the comfort of his apartment. He leaves to mourn one sister; Juanita Cannon, Three children; Chevyl (John), Dana Weaver (Nuke), and Robert Charles Hamilton. He also leaves six grandchildren; Alyncia Kennedy, Kendra Daniels, Zacchaeus Brown, Kendrick Kennedy II, Zaria Brown and Zarina Brown; one great grandson, Jeremiah Manning; three special cousins who were raised with him like brothers; R. B. Oliver, Kilroy Hanna, and Edward Charles Roseborough, as well numerous other relatives and friends.

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain; for the former things are passed away.
