Ms. Samoree Dior Hicks; affectionately called “Moe” was born in Paris, TX on January 5th 1991 to the parentage of Bridgette Hicks and Gary Von Booker. On January 8, 2020, while at Baylor Hospital she quietly slipped away to be with the Lord.
She was a lifelong member of Mt Pisgah Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking, attending family outings, and spending quality time with her children.
Samoree was preceded in death by her mother Bridgette Hicks. Those who remain to cherish precious memories are: her Children; Chyna Johnson, Zakealen Epperson, Sir Davis, and Kashmere Warren of Dallas, her Significant other: Robert Warren of Dallas, her Father; Gary Von Booker of Dallas a Sister; Emonie Gray of Paris, Brothers; Garron Booker of Dallas, TX and Janarius Warren of Dallas, a Nephew; Armani Copper of Paris, TX, an Uncle; Gaberial Booker of Fort Worth, Aunts; Felecia Lewis (Alfred) of Paris, TX, Karon Williams (Gregory) of Paris, TX and Brika Hicks of Dallas. She also leaves to cherish precious memories a host of other relatives and friends. She will certainly be missed by all who knew her.
Homegoing Celebration Services are: 2:00 P.M., Saturday January 18, 2020 - Mt Pisgah Baptist Church (1002 5th Street NE Paris, TX 75460), Pastor Gary Savage, Officiant & Pastor Kendall McAfee, Eulogist. Ms. Hicks will lie in quiet repose at the church one (1) hour prior to the start of funeral.
