It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Min. Shedrick Ervin Ward, Jr., age 51, a US Army Veteran of Dallas, Texas. Minister Ward, age 51 was born October 11, 1972, in Detroit, Michigan. His parents were the loving Shedrick Ervin Ward, Sr. and Ruby Nell Conner Armstead.
Minister Shedrick grew up in Detroit, MI where he attended and graduated from Detroit public schools. Shortly after graduating, he joined the US Army.
Shedrick, was not only a U.S. Army veteran, and a devoted Christian, but he also fought many battles in his life and overcame them all! He began his Inspirational YouTube Channel “Stepping Stones" Ministry “2022. His goal was to encourage others going through similar situations, to fulfill the mission of the gospel through prayer & preaching. Shedrick fought his hardest battle trying to stay here with us, minister Shedrick’s pain & suffering came to an end when he gained his angel wings on July 5, 2024.
He leaves to cherish his memories with his father; Shedrick Ervin Ward, Sr, (Ernestine Ward), four (4) siblings, one beautiful daughter; Charitee, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Shedrick Unfortunately we did not foresee his untimely passing. Therefore, our family requests, any financial assistance you may be able to provide us.
The Military Honors, Committal and Entombment Services for Mr. Ward is 3:00 PM, Friday, July 19, 2024, at the DFW National Cemetery (Dallas, TX). The Memorial Service for Shedrick Ward will be held at First Presbyterian Church located at 818 N. Main Street - Bonham, Texas 75418 on Saturday, July 20, 2024, at 2:00PM. Please keep the Ward family lifted in prayer.
