Sonya McShane

It is with profound sorrow and our deepest regret that we announce the passing of Ms. Sonya McShane, age 47 of Dallas, Texas.  On September 20, 2021, after battling a long  ordeal with breast cancer, and while surrounded by her loving family, Ms. Sonya McShane quietly slipped away to be with the Lord.

Sonya was born in Dallas, Texas, on March 27, 1974, to the proud parentage of Lloyd Sr, and Ollie B. McShane.

She was the youngest of her parents five children. As a child, Sonya excelled in school. She was beautiful, smart, very intelligence and graduated with honors. At an early age she accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savior and remained faithful and steadfast in her staunched Christian beliefs. Sonya was preceded in death by her mother, Ollie B. McShane.

She leaves to cherish precious and fond memories, her father; Lloyd McShane Sr. of Desoto, TX, two sisters; Shirley McShane of Dallas, TX, and Luerine McShane of Bedford, TX, two brother; Lloyd McShane, Jr. of Garland, TX, and James McShane (Victoria) of Arlington, TX, three nieces; Octaivia Moore of Grand Prairie, TX, Lauren McShane of Bedford, TX, and Lacresha Evans of Bedford, TX , three nephews; Jasmine McShane of Dallas, TX, Jamaal McShane of Dallas, TX and Jameion McShane of Grand Prairie, TX, one grandniece; Jhene McShane of Terrell, TX, four grandnephews; Orion McShane of Plano, TX, True McShane, Lyric McShane, and Legend McShane, of Washington, DC and a plethora of relatives and friends. Sonya will truly be missed by all who knew her.
