Willene Stephens Obituary
Ms. Willene Tatum-Stephens, age 93 of Dallas, Texas quietly slipped away to be with the Lord on Monday morning, May 6, 2019.
Willene was born in Mexia, Texas, on April 16, 1926 to the proud parentage of Mr. Israel and Mrs. Ida Tinsley-Tatum. She attended and graduated from the Mexia Public Schools in Mexia, Texas.
Willene married Johnny Stephens and remained married until in 1977 they divorced. She never remarried, but chose to live an independent and modest lifestyle. Willene maintained her independence, until her health began to fail and she could no longer reside on her own.
Willene was preceded in death by both parents and a number of other relatives. Willene now leaves to cherish fond memories, a plethora of relatives, cousins and friends which are far too many to mention here by name.
All who knew and loved Willene will certainly miss her. Please keep our family lifted in prayer.
