Our owner, Ms Pat Willis and most all our Bethesda Staff are Military veterans who honorably served our Nation during the time of peace & war. Members of our team are also experienced professionals and as such; fully understands that each family is unique and has personal requests, needs and traditions that Bethesda must fulfill.

These requests, needs and traditions are of utmost importance to our staff of licensed funeral directors, embalmers, funeral specialist, advisors, chaplains and our administrative staff.

Ms. Willis is a faithful member of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. And also owns Tri-City Embroidery.

Dr. CW Burruss (1SG/E-8, US Army Ret.)

Funeral Director in Charge

Dr. CW Burruss our adjunct funeral director is a native of Huntsville, AL. He is a former US Army First Sergeant, E-8, disabled veteran with over 20 years of active duty. He is also a former 2X Dallas area ISD Chief of Police. Chief Burruss in a graduate of the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service (DIFS), and is a Texas licensed funeral director. He has attended several colleges and universities and holds earned accredited undergraduate and graduate degrees from Columbia College, MO, University of the State of New York (Regents College), Albany, NY and Amberton University of Garland, TX. Dr. Burruss also has a PhD in Criminal Justice and also an Honorary Doctorate in Humanities from Texas Bible College - Dallas TX.
